whats the easiest ways to play F#m and Bm7?
church-clown40 - 2005-03-22
dude play it without the F#ms, Bm7s, and the Fm and play the bridge like
G D G D G D E.
church-clown40 - 2005-03-22
Change the E in the bridge to a C2

There seems to be a litte bass note walkdown from the A to the D? Any opinions on this or what the notes my be...thanks

Firstly, good tab. Secondly, the F#m doesn't really work. I'm using a G/F#, and it sounds fine. Thirdly, the Bm7s are necessary. Fourthly, the Fm is a straight F. That's all I got.

Haha. Maybe that wasn't all. Fifthly, the easiest way to play a Bm7 is x24232, but if you shy away from barre chords, x20202 works just as well.

For a more realistic sound, instead of F, use Fmajor7 ... and follow that with an Em instead of a C2.

And in the verses, you can go from D to Gmajor7 -- or just wrap your thumb around to the G (on the E string) to create a D/G, which is essentially the same thing.
